My XBox 360 is fixed; a new challenger appears
I got my 360 back yesterday. I also confirmed the imminent death of my PC the same day, as if though the 360 decided that it now wants attention instead. I am now saving up funds to get a new one since I can't be arsed to get a new PSU for the old hog. The 360 did work just fine though, since I finally was able to play through the Mirror's Edge demo, which was the initial cause of the crashing before Fallout 3 did the death strike.
Question now is whether I play or whether I do something else.

Besides playing such marginal games (Mirror’s Edge demo, Fallout 3, and related crap) did you consider replacing your own computer´s PSU (Power Supply Unit) with another crappy US$15.00 “Made in China´s” PSU??? I mean, before China sheself submerges into her own “World International Financial Crisis”??
(I mean, assuming that such PSUs cost as low as US$15.00 in your our own country (Norway), different from my own country (???), where we “you don’t have computers at work”. I hope, for your own benefit, that in Norway such PSUs cost less than US$300.00, before taxes…)
Unfortuately, neither my country neither Norway has Newegg or similar bargain hardware sites simular to America´s (that´s why America is called “The Land of the Braves”, at least until the end of their own personal credit…).

If you think that 99.9% of the PSUs aren’t made in China or Taiwan, regardless of what the price is, you’re delusional.

Yeah dude, Now we know you live in the US or Canada since in Europe we dont have tax after we buy something. We have VAT (Value Added Tax) that is already baked into the price from the start and we pay taxes directly from our salery. (Atleast thats how it is in Norway,Sweden and Finland. Don’t know about the rest of Europe since never worked there)
And my standard quallity 500W PSU cost around $25.
