New Toradora OP/ED themes’ CDs announced
Starchild's just updated their release pages with information on the coming new opening and ending themes for Toradora. According to the information posted by Starchild here, there's going to be a limited edition copy of the opening theme. There's no covers yet or anything, just some data:
New opening theme named "silky heart" - sung by Horie Yui (Minorin).
Release date: 2009/01/28.
Limited edition comes with a DVD containing the PV movie for the song.
Limited edition will cost 1890 yen, regular edition will cost 1200 yen.
Contains a total of three songs, with karaoke versions of all three - total tracks is six.
New ending theme named "orange" (orenji) - sung by Horie Yui (Minorin), Kugimiya Rie (Taiga) and Kitamura Eri (Ami).
Release date: 2009/01/28, will cost 1200 yen.
Contains a total of two songs, with karaoke version of both - total tracks is four.
The cover is going be drawn by the character designer, Tanaka Masayoshi.

Well if we’re lucky they’ll be as good, if not we can at least hope that the B tracks on the singles will be as good this time around, because I love the B tracks from the first 2 singles. Can’t seem to get Ka Ra Ku Ri out of my head.

New OP and ED pretty much means that Toradora will be a 24-26 eps anime.
Mahou.org also listed Toradora as having 25 eps.But judging from the current storyline,i guess they gonna fill it with lots of filler.

No; if they continue at the rate they’re going, and include the spin-off novel, they’d be able to fit in all currently-out novels with only a couple more filler episodes being necessary.

Are the new opening and closing songs on next weeks episode or is it the week after that?
Next episode raw release in japan is episode 15.
Will the CD come out first or will the songs debut on the anime before that?
I believe episode 17 airs on the same day the cd comes out.
18 the first week of February 2009.
If this show is really 24-16 episodes should wrap up when in March or April.
That s if they don’t do the bonus episodes are only on dvd, shows seem to do a lot of these days.
