Gundam 00 episode 8 seiyuu frustration
Tieria Erde has a female voice during episode 8 of Gundam 00, and whoever was doing it isn't even credited in the ending theme. I am convinced it was either Ogasawara Arisa (who does Marie/Soma) or Honma Youko. (who does Sumeragi) I pride myself in my ability to recognize seiyuus, yet this I am afraid I might have to admit defeat - but there's no actual info to confirm or deny this. Do we know yet?
I've sat down and listened to the amazing amount of two lines the female Tieria gets to speak, and the pitch rise she does at the second sentence is similar to how Ogasawara does the casual speaking Soma - but not similar to how she voices as Marie. The pitch isn't there from Honma however, she never raises her voice to that kind of pitch, always the calm and sultry voice from Sumeragi. I don't have any previous experience with both of their voices as they're both fairly new and not too much used either, and I haven't seen the shows they've been in. Should I get Wolf's Rain to hear more of Ogasawara, maybe? It's not like I want to even watch Futari wa Precure for more of Honma.

It wasn’t just the seiyuu who does Regene Regetta? I guess it didn’t sound quite like her, but I wasn’t paying that much attention.

Romi Paku has a brash noise behind all her lines from having done too many males voices, you can say her aloof and bratty kind of voices from her poor attempts at ojou-sama-tastic voices are the same pattern, only with different pitches at the start and end of sentences. It is most definitely not her.

Wow I never even noticed the lack of credits.
While it’s thought-provoking, I’m pretty sure it’s one of the scenarios you laid out above, but I’m not curious enough to find out which one it was lol.
And if your curiosity is great enough to go watch Wolf’s Rain, ugh don’t do it before the cat dies. While the show was decent a while ago, I don’t think I’d want to watch it again (I don’t think I even finished buying or watching the dvds… lol).
I liked how the episode came together at the end.

credits and proper acknowledgments are extremely important in productions, and “no credits” could mean that it’s the same person who did the male voice of Tieria. even though it’s really hard to believe, but from the video posted above, it does seem like it’s Kamiya Hiroshi making a female voice. towards the end of vid, he mentioned he’s tired (from the fake female voice) haha. but it’s really quite amazing. if he can keep this up for 20 odd minutes, he can be the seiyuu of a female character, gasp!

Yeah, at 2:05 or somewhere around there he did mention he was tired. And I’m pretty sure that voice had a distinct “faked” accent, a female seiyuu wouldn’t have to do all that isn’t it?

This gundam serie is the most effective. I cannot forget my 1st time watching Gundam Wing then know about japan mobile suit gundam. Hope to have much more fantastic gundam serie in the future

love robots in general, esp japanese gundam. Gundam is actually a piece of arts, why do they look so detail. Japanese are sure wonderful.
